Grow With Us

Church School

The Mount Sinai Sunday Church School is an essential part of our overall church vision. As we grow in the number of members, we want to also grow our members in the knowledge of God’s Word.

Jesus said, “Come unto me, and learn of me…” (Matthew 11:28). A strong teaching ministry is essential to such a goal. This is why we offer more than just a “traditional” Sunday School lesson to each student. We offer, as well, classes concerning topics such as Christian doctrine, prayer, evangelism, and more.

We believe “to whom much is given, much is required.” We will not be satisfied until every member of Mount Sinai is a growing student of God’s Word. Paul wrote to Timothy, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

Special attention is given to Christian doctrinal mandates (disciplines) that address key issues of spiritual development that are seldom addressed within conventional Church settings. The course is to include ample time for open, but managed, discussions relative to topics explored in the Men’s Ministry meetings. Peacemakers Is this really worth fighting over? What does it mean to speak the truth in love? How do I confess? Can I really forgive and forget? These questions and many others will be answered during this class. Instead of responding to conflict the world’s way, this class will teach us to resolve conflict biblically.
